DeepState: Ukrainian Armed Forces hold defense in Kupyansk sector
Roman Pohorilyi, co-founder of the DeepState project, noted that Russian enemy is trying to advance to the area of Synkivka in the Kupyansk sector
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The Kupyansk sector remains difficult because the enemy continues to concentrate its forces there. If we look from the Masiutivka-Yahidne line, the situation has stabilised in the Yahidne-Ivanivske area. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have had some success, and we can see changes on the map. In the area of Pershotravneve, Masiutivka and Lyman Pershyi, Russian enemy continues to exert pressure and is trying to advance to the area of Synkivka," explained Pohorilyi.
According to the co-founder of the DeepState project, very difficult battles are taking place in the forests near Lyman Pershyi.
"The enemy is constantly moving in waves. Sometimes they storm in columns, sometimes in assault groups, sometimes they try to put pressure with their equipment. But there are no large-scale changes on the frontline. The defence forces are holding the line, and there are successful stabilisation efforts," Pohorilyi added.
- The Institute for the Study of War writes that it will be difficult for the Russian forces to seize the initiative on the battlefield, as they will have to transfer units from areas where Ukraine is conducting offensive operations.
- On November 23, the Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks in the Kupyansk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka sectors. The Armed Forces also eliminated 1,100 Russian invaders.
