Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 20 Shaheds, S-300 and 3 ammunition depots in one day - AFU General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units during the day hit 2 Russian control points, an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, a personnel concentration, 3 ammunition depots and 5 artillery units at firing positions.

During the day, Russian troops have launched over 40 air strikes and 20 MLRS attacks

They also launched 5 attacks with Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kh-59 cruise missiles. 

There are victims among the civilian population; industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, residential buildings and administrative infrastructure in Kherson region were damaged.

There were 26 combat clashes in the 4 main frontline areas over the day

Russian troops attack in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka sectors, heavy fighting continues.

• On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
• On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched air strikes near 2 settlements in the Chernihiv region. Furthermore, they launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of 21 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
• In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops carried out air strikes near 2 settlements in the Kharkiv region. Six settlements across Kharkiv and Luhansk regions came under artillery and mortar fire.
• In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near 4 settlements in Luhansk Donetsk regions over the past day. They carried out an air strike near 1 settlement in the Donetsk region. Nine settlements across Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under artillery fire.
• In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near a settlement in the Donetsk region. Russian troops launched air strikes near 3 settlements. They also shelled 11 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.
• In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched an air strike near Avdiivka. The Russian army also shelled 14 settlements with artillery. 
• In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous attacks near the town of Marinka and 2 others.  Russian troops launched air strikes on 5 settlements and shelled 5 more in the Donetsk region with artillery.
• In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near 2 settlements and shelled 8 more settlements. 
• In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces are on the defensive. They carried out air strikes with guided aerial bombs on a settlement in the Kherson region.  Russian forces shelled 31 settlements across, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

Andriy Kovalov, spokesman for the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were successful in an assault on the Rozdolivka-Krasnopolivka and Berkhivka-Yahidne sectors, near Bakhmut, and in the Berdiansk and Mariupol directions.
