General Staff report: Ukrainian Defense Forces repel attacks in 6 directions

In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the occupying Russian army, with the support of aviation, conducted assault operations near Synkivka, northeast of Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 7 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 attacks near Serebryanska forestry in the Luhansk region and Torske, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 6 attacks.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian troops conducted assault operations near Bohdanivka, Andriivka and Klishchiivka, Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops repelled 24 attacks. Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on Russian troops, and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian forces, supported by aviation, keep trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the Russian occupying troops. Russia's offensive actions near Stepove, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Sieverne and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 20 attacks.

In the Marinka direction, the Russian troops, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Marinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks there.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the occupying Russian troops did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian forces unsuccessfully tried 11 times to regain their lost position near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 4 attacks west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, and depleting the Russian army along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian troops hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy's rear.

Russian army launches 1 missile and 71 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 82 combat clashes took place on the frontline. In total, Russia launched 1 missile, 71 air strikes, and 80 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Yesterday, the occupying Russian army carried out another air strikes using 19 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. 15 of them were destroyed. Russia also attacked Ukraine with 2 Kh-59 guided missiles and 12 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 1 Kh-59 guided missile and 8 attack UAVs.

Russian troops launched air strikes at 8 Ukrainian settlements.

Over 130 settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 10 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment and another 1 on an anti-aircraft missile system.

• On the morning of December 1, the Russian occupying forces launched UAVs at Ukraine from the north. An air alert was declared in Kyiv and a number of regions.
