Ukrainian Air Force destroys 16 out of 30 Russian-launched Shaheds overnight
On the night of Sunday, October 1, the Ukrainian Air Force, together with air defense, destroyed 16 out of 30 Russian-launched Shahed drones in the skies over Ukraine
The Air Force of Ukraine reported the information.
It noted that during the massive attack on Ukraine, Russian forces launched 30 Shahed-type attack UAVs from the southern, southeastern and northern directions. These are Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Russia’s Kursk.
The Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 16 Shaheds.
On the evening of September 30 and throughout the night, Russia launched a coordinated air attack on Ukraine, targeting various regions. Infrastructure was damaged in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro region, and Uman, Cherkasy region, resulting in one person being wounded. For more details, please follow the link.
