Ukraine's Ground Forces show how they are improving defense lines of Kyiv and region

Deputy Commander of the AFU Ground Forces  Oleksandr Pavliuk reported this. 

According to him, the installation of long-term fortifications at the strongholds of the units of the Kyiv Defense Forces is underway.

“We continue to install and equip firing positions on the enemy's likely routes of advance. The process of equipping shelters to protect personnel continues as well,” the general wrote.

Reinforced concrete structures are used for arranging shelters, which are installed below the level of the soil surface, Pavliuk clarified. He noted that buildings of this type will also make it possible to organize the work of command and observation posts, as well as platoon and company strongholds, as efficiently and safely as possible.

• The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff previously suggested that the Russian troops may try to attack Kyiv, using the territory of Belarus as a springboard.
