Ukraine’s General Staff names regions threatened by Bal missile system relocated to Russian border region
The Bal missile system deployed to the Bryansk region is capable of hitting targets in the Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions
Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff Oleksii Hromov said this at a briefing.
According to him, Russia is increasing the number of tactical missile troops in the areas bordering Ukraine and has deployed a division of the Bal coastal missile system to the Bryansk region.
“This increases the threat of enemy strikes with Kh-35 missiles, whose range allows them to hit targets in the Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions,” Hromov said.
