Russia relocates Bal coastal missile systems to Bryansk region: Resistance warns of possible shelling
Russian troops have moved Bal coastal missile systems to the Bryansk region to fire at peaceful Ukrainian settlements
This was reported by the National Resistance Centre.
According to the underground, a division of the Bal missile system has been deployed to the Bryansk region of Russia.
The unit belongs to the 11th Separate Coastal Missile and Artillery Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, based in the village of Utash, Krasnodar Territory.
This division is designed to hit ships, but due to the lack of suitable missiles, the Bal has the same range and ability to fire at land targets as the Bastion coastal missile system, which uses the Oniks supersonic missile.
For this purpose, the complex is armed with Kh-35/35U missiles, which were upgraded in 2021 and received new capabilities, and the range was increased from 260 to 500 km.
In the temporarily occupied city of Armyansk in the north of the Crimean peninsula, Russian forces are preparing to evacuate the administration and population due to critical disruptions at the Titanium plant.
