Ukraine's future in EU: President of European Parliament Roberta Metsola arrives in Kyiv

"Good to be back in Ukraine. With those brave people who inspired the world. With those heroes who refuse to give in. With those who sacrificed everything for our values. With Europeans whose home is in our European Union," said the head of the European Parliament.
Metsola pointed out that Ukraine's future is EU membership. The politician also met with the speaker of Ukraine’s parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk and promised to strengthen cooperation.

Roberta Metsola was one of the first high-ranking politicians to visit Kyiv after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion – she made her first visit back on April 1, 2022.
