Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has tried the German Marder infantry fighting vehicles that have arrived in Ukraine, saying they are an excellent example of German quality
The Defense Minister tweeted about it.
"Marder is an excellent example of German quality. I have tried it myself. Looking forward to taming the Leopards soon. I love the way they roar! Would be happy if Anka Feldhusen (German Ambassador to Ukraine - ed.) can join me. Let's do it together!" he wrote.
Oleksii Reznikov also thanked the people of Germany and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

The German Ministry of Defense reported that 18 Leopard 2 A6 heavy battle tanks, as well as ammunition and spare parts for them, had arrived in Ukraine. Among the equipment are 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles. Earlier, Germany promised that the tanks would arrive in Ukraine with trained crews and then immediately be sent to the front.
