Umerov expresses confidence that Ukraine will liberate Crimea in 2024
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov is confident that in 2024 the Ukrainian Forces will liberate Crimea, which was occupied by Russia in 2014
He said this in an interview with German journalists, Bild reports.
"I am one hundred percent sure. This is our strategic goal," the minister said.
According to him, Russia is "on the dark side," and Putin's regime is condemned by the entire civilized world.
Umerov emphasized that he had no doubt about Ukraine's victory.
- On December 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference on the results of 2023 that the General Staff had raised the issue of mobilizing an additional 450-500 thousand Ukrainians.
- Umerov, commenting on the president's statement, said that Ukraine plans to draft men living in Germany and other European countries as refugees.
