Ukraine procures 6 more Caesar howitzers, drones, and demining robots from France
Ukraine has signed several contracts with French military companies. One is for additional Caesar self-propelled artillery systems
Ouest France reported the information.
It said that under the agreements, KNDS holding will supply Ukraine with six more Caesar self-propelled howitzers. A contract has also been signed to provide long-term support for these self-propelled artillery systems by providing spare parts. This agreement also covers spare parts for AMX-10RC wheeled tanks.
Arquus, as a manufacturer of VAB armored vehicles, intends to manufacture components for these armored personnel carriers, which are currently in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in cooperation with Ukrainian enterprises.
Agreements with the French company CEFA provide for the supply of 8 amphibious vehicles to overcome water obstacles. And representatives of Delair signed a contract with Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense for the supply of drones (the type is not specified).
At the same time, Thales and Turgis & Gaillard agreed to jointly develop drones with the Ukrainian side. In addition, CEFA will supply the first 8 demining robots.
