He shared the information on the United News national telethon.
"Tomorrow we will officially come out with such a position... We have a very simple question: does Russia have the right to remain a permanent member of the UN Security Council and to be part of the United Nations in general? We have a convincing and reasoned answer: no, it does not," he stressed.
According to him, the question of what will happen to Russia after its defeat in the war unleashed by it ceases to be a taboo for world diplomacy. And although this topic is not yet discussed at press conferences and in public statements of state and government leaders, "but people are already asking questions at the lower level".
- Earlier, the US Congress introduced a resolution proposing to exclude Russia from the UN Security Council.
- On December 23, the head of the European Council stated that Russia's membership in the UN Security Council must be suspended. According to him, the UN reform is long overdue.
