New French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne arrives in Kyiv
On January 13, the new head of French diplomacy, Stéphane Sejourne, arrived in Kyiv to reaffirm European support for Ukraine
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this on X.
It is noted that Stéphane Sejourne arrived in Kyiv as part of his first trip to the diplomatic field to continue French diplomatic action in Ukraine and reaffirm his commitment to the allies along with the civilian population.
"For almost 2 years, Ukraine has been on the front line, defending its sovereignty and ensuring the security of Europe. France's assistance is long-term. This is confirmed by the fact that I have come to Kyiv on my first trip," said the newly elected French Foreign Minister.
Earlier, the Foreign Ministry said that this would be Sejourne's first visit to Ukraine to reaffirm Europe's continued support for Ukraine.
