Ukraine may receive radar-guided Sea Sparrow missiles from US
In the next package of military aid, Ukraine may receive radar-guided Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles from the US for the first time.

Publication notes that for the first time, package will include Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles with radar guidance, which can be launched from the sea or from land to intercept aircraft or cruise missiles.
According to media sources, Ukrainian military managed to adapt Soviet Buk launchers to fire Sea Sparrow missiles.
Politico writes that until now, Taiwan has been the only country to use land-based version of the missiles, while the US Navy and many allies use ship-mounted version.
