Ukraine has become one of the most mined countries in the world - Vereshchuk

Vereshchuk told this in an interview for Italian television Sky TG24.

Situation around Kyiv is less tense, but it remains very difficult and dangerous due to the extremely large number of mined areas.

"Unfortunately, as a result of full-scale Russian aggression, Ukraine has become one of the largest mined areas in the world. Due to great danger, many cities and towns are very difficult to reach, to clear the territory from large number of mines - and to give the chance to deliver regularly to inhabitants of such city and village medicines, water, food, goods of the first necessity ", - Irina Vereshchuk told.
