Ukraine Armed Forces control Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Russia prepares for offensive
Serhiy Haidai, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, says Bilohorivka remains under Ukraine’s control, and no Russian soldiers are present there. However, Russia is preparing for an offensive
Serhiy Haidai shared the information on Telegram.
"The situation is tense, but controlled by our military. All those rumors that "a full-scale offensive will begin in 15 minutes" or something like that are not true. Everybody clearly understands how many reserves are being redeployed and what is happening on the front line. Everyone is ready to fight back," said the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
Serhiy Haidai assesses that Russian troops may be looking for a weakness in the Ukrainian defense: the number of attacks has increased slightly, but they are all repelled. In particular, Russia is spreading information about the "capture" of Bilohorivka.
"First, they don't even know if there are people left there and how many of them. Secondly, our soldiers remain in their positions, no one has captured Bilohorivka. There is no enemy there," he emphasized.

Earlier, experts predicted that Russian troops are unlikely to launch a decisive offensive against the city of Zaporizhzhia: the Russian army is still preparing for an offensive in the western part of the Luhansk region and is seeking to encircle Bakhmut.
