Russia has not demonstrated its ability to successfully conduct several offensives simultaneously - ISW
According to ISW analysts, the Russian army cannot conduct major offensive operations in several directions at the same time
This is stated in the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) report.
"Russia has not demonstrated the ability to conduct numerous large-scale offensive operations simultaneously, which would be vital to enter the administrative borders of the Donetsk region and capture Zaporizhzhia," the ISW stated.
Experts predicted that the occupying forces are unlikely to lead offensive operations in Zaporizhzhia: the Russian army will keep preparing for an offensive in the west of Luhansk region, as well as attempting to surround Bakhmut.
Referring to data provided by the Mariupol mayor adviser Petro Andryushchenko on the total of 30 000 Russian military personnel used to seize Mariupol, the experts evaluated Russian potential for further offensive.
They claimed that it was not enough to attack Zaporizhizhia:
"Regular forces, reserve and Wagner forces have already mobilized tens of thousands and lost thousands in the attempt to capture Bakhmut. Over 70 000 people lived in Bakhmut before the invasion."

Earlier, Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov stated that enemy troops may launch an offensive in the East and South for the invasion anniversary, February 24.
