There will be more support - Zelenskyy on meeting with Macron and Scholz
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had received good signals on the diplomatic front that Ukrainian defense would be strengthened
The president said this in his evening address on February 10.
Zelenskyy noted that there are now important agreements and good signals on the diplomatic front. They relate to long-range missiles, tanks, and the next level of cooperation - combat aircraft. However, according to the president, there is still work to be done.
The president noted that he was pleased to hear and see how the Ukrainian military in the UK are quickly mastering new weapons.
"I was very happy to see how much the Brits wanted us to win. All this is inspiring," he underscored.
Zelenskyy also said that he had held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. According to him, the leaders of the countries were able to hear each other.
"The partners heard our position and our arguments. There will be more support," Zelenskyy emphasized.
In addition, the president held talks with the leaders of the European Union after the European Council meeting.
"Now our common task is to take everything we have talked about and agreed on and transform it into concrete supplies, into concrete documents, into concrete new lines of cooperation," Zelenskyy added.
