Ukraine makes gains in Donetsk sector - Ukraine's President Zelenskyy
On Wednesday, September 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a daily conference call and announced the advance of Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk direction
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"There is Ukraine's advance in the Donetsk direction. There are other plans that are being implemented," Zelenskyy wrote.
According to the President, he received reports on the situation at the front, the supply of equipment and ammunition, and intelligence data.
In addition, Zelenskyy was briefed on the situation in the Kherson region: the Russian army continues to terrorize the territories it can reach. The invaders have used 26 KAB missiles over the past day.
"The SBU has results. They captured the gunners who were adjusting the night strike on Kyiv a week ago. This is a good signal to all traitors: there will be retribution," the President added.
On September 15, Ukrainian troops took control of the villages of Klishchiivka and Andriivka south of Bakhmut.
Ilya Yevlash, spokesman for the Eastern Direction, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had taken fire control of the Bakhmut-Horlivka highway, which the invaders use for logistics.
Instead, Major Rodion Kudriashov noted that Russia has already replaced more than one brigade and unit in the Bakhmut direction.
