Ukrainian soldier shares insights on Russian reserves near Bakhmut
Major Rodion Kudryashov, the Deputy Commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, says that Russia has rotated multiple brigades and units in the Bakhmut direction
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The enemy can withstand the dynamics imposed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces only by relying on its advantages, namely the advantage of a large number of personnel, i.e. reserves. And a large amount of the Soviet Union's legacy, which they are using – artillery with unlimited ammunition. However, the enemy has been observed rotating multiple brigades and units in the Bakhmut direction," emphasized Kudryashov.
According to the deputy commander, it is difficult to calculate the total number of Russian troops in the Bakhmut direction.
"But the enemy is doing everything to close the gaps, and we are creating gaps for them. According to the latest information, 3 out of 4 battalion commanders of Russia’s 72nd Brigade were eliminated, and the fourth was captured and is now in the exchange fund to get our guys out. According to the surviving commander, the 72nd Brigade of the Russian Federation no longer exists," noted Kudryashov.
