The Prime Minister of Ireland Micheal Martin began his trip to Kyiv by viewing the suburbs of Bucha, Irpin and Borodyanka

Michal Martin inspected the burnt residential buildings and met with the mayor of Borodyanka. In Bucha, he visited the mass graves on the territory of the church and was shown photographs of the bodies found after the retreat of the Russian army from the city in the first weeks of the war.
The Prime Minister of Ireland also drove past the Gostomel airport, bombed warehouses, shopping centers, as well as gas stations. The delegation stopped to examine the destroyed bridge.
