Sweden's Chief of Defence General Micael Bydén visits Ukrainian artillery units

A video capturing the Swedish general's visit was shared by the Ukrainian military, specifically from the 45th separate artillery brigade.
During the on-site meeting, General Micael Bydén conversed with artillery and infantry personnel who had received training in Sweden. He commended their efforts in combat.
In response, Ukrainian servicemen expressed gratitude to General Bydén and his country for their valuable support.

This was discussed in a meeting involving Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk, and Sweden's Armed Forces Supreme Commander General Micael Bydén, as per the Ministry of Defense press release.
Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk mentioned ongoing "fruitful bilateral work" on acquiring Gripen aircraft.
He acknowledged "certain NATO-related questions" but expressed optimism, stating, "with joint efforts, we will be able to get these aircraft."
General Bydén highlighted that discussions about transferring Gripen aircraft to Ukraine are happening at both political and military operational levels. The dialogue continues, and political decisions are anticipated.
