Sunak plans visit to Biden to discuss Brexit and assistance to Ukraine
Rishi Sunak will hold talks with Joe Biden in Washington next week to discuss, among other things, further military aid for Ukraine
This is stated in a statement by a spokesperson for the British Prime Minister, as cited by Reuters.
"Sunak will be in Washington on Wednesday and Thursday of next week to meet with Biden, members of Congress and US business leaders," the statement said.
It is noted that Sunak will make his first official visit to Washington since he was appointed prime minister in October. He wants to improve relations with the United States after they were tense over the UK's exit from the European Union in 2020.
The British Prime Minister's spokesman added that the two leaders will have the opportunity to discuss various issues, including support for Ukraine.

As a reminder, the two countries reacted to the drone attack on Moscow. Britain believes that Ukraine has the right to use force outside its borders, i.e. to strike at Russian territory to weaken Russia's ability to strike, while the United States supports the focus on regaining its own territories.
