Streets littered with corpses: in Mariupol, Russian soldiers refuse to bury the dead, and force relatives to review "death catalogs"

In Mariupol, people's bodies are lying in the middle of the street, covered with plastic, because Russian occupying "authorities" refuse to carry out burials.

Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, shared the news.

"At the intersection of Lomizova and Azovstalska Streets, two corpses of civilians, packed in plastic bags, are still lying on the street. The bags are torn open by stray dogs, dragging body parts around the district. Russian occupation authorities refuse to respond to residents' appeals and carry out burials, replying: whoever needs it, let him  and will bury," wrote Andryushchenko.

As the mayor's adviser added, in the new morgue at the base of Hospital No. 1, during the search for a burial place in a mass grave, Russian occupiers provide residents with a catalog of photos of the deceased - 3-4 thousand photos each.

"The photos were taken in the Metro morgue on the street. Mariupol residents say that relatives cannot mentally withstand such a search. Moreover, the occupiers themselves claim that no more than 20% of all those who passed through the Metro morgue are in the "death catalog" -  added Andryushchenko.
