Stoltenberg urges to wait for confirmation of Russian troops' withdrawal from Kherson
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has responded to the Russian Federation's statements regarding the pullout of its troops from the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region
This was reported by NATO News with reference to Stoltenberg's statement.
“We have seen the announcement, but for now we will wait and see what will happen on the ground. But what do we know - that Russia was first pushed out first from the north around Kyiv, then - in the east around Kharkiv, and now we see that the Ukrainians are able to push back the Russian troops also in the south around Kherson,” he said.
According to the NATO Secretary General, “it is inspiring to see that brave Ukrainian soldiers are able to liberate new and new territories.”
