SSU exposed an agent of invader special services in Lviv, abandoned from the occupied territories 

This is reported by the SSU, informs Espreso.West.

As the investigation established, the man, who lived for a long time in the temporarily occupied territory, was recruited by the aggressor's special services.

The traitor arrived on the territory of our state with the task of conducting reconnaissance in the west of Ukraine.

The SSU special forces detained an agent in Lviv at the end of March 2022 and prevented the transfer of important intelligence information to the invader.

So far, he has been informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art.  111 (high treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The operation to expose illegal activities was carried out by counterintelligence officers and investigators of the SSU of the Lviv region under the procedural leadership of the Lviv regional prosecutor's office.
