Sky News reported the information.
Sánchez will participate in the summit online after his plane turned back to Madrid due to technical issues en route to Paris.
This incident follows two similar cases earlier this week involving the planes of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda.
- On August 31, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s plane was forced to land in Bulgaria using paper maps due to a GPS failure, possibly caused by a Russian attack.
- On September 3, the Spartan aircraft carrying Lithuania’s President Gitanas Nausėda was unable to land at Vilnius Airport for some time due to reports that an unidentified drone might be in the airspace.
