Slovakia’s Ministry of Defense reported the information.
"This transfer was carried out by land, taking into account the maximum possible safety, and once again, many thanks to all the forces involved, because in such cases it is a really important and complex logistics operation," said Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď.
Ukraine has now received all 13 MiG-29 fighter jets announced.
Jaroslav Naď reminds that MiG-29 aircraft are a significant support for Ukraine in its defense against Russian military aggression and in protecting its citizens.
"In addition, these aircraft were unusable for us unlike for our neighbor. We are doing the right thing," the minister added.
On March 17, the Slovak government approved the supply of 13 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.
The US offered to sell 12 new Bell AH-1Z Viper helicopters to Slovakia at a discount after Bratislava sent its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.
On March 23, Slovakia transferred the first 4 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.
On April 13, Germany allowed Poland to re-export MiG-29s to Ukraine.
