Scholz promises that Ukraine will soon receive Gepard and Iris-T systems
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has promised that Ukraine will receive another batch of Gepard self-propelled artillery systems and Iris-T air defense in the coming weeks

Olaf Scholz said this during a speech in the Bundestag, Spiegel reports.
According to him, Germany will continue to provide steady military assistance to Ukraine.
Scholz noted that in the coming weeks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive new Gepard artillery systems and the IRIS-T air defense system. Germany is also working to provide Ukraine with additional ammunition, he emphasized.
The Chancellor also addressed the critics of the arms deliveries.
“I assure you that the government I lead never takes decisions on arms transfers carelessly,” Scholz said.
