The National Resistance Center reported the information.
The Russian enterprise Izhmash - Unmanned Systems failed to fulfill the state order due to a shortage of European components required for the production of the Granat-4 complex.
The Center notes that the Russian Ministry of Defense and the plant signed an agreement last summer to produce new systems. However, a few months later, in October, the company announced that it could not fulfill the order due to European sanctions and the lack of components from the EU.
The relevant documents confirming the information were provided to the National Resistance Center by the plant's employees.

"We have another instance where ‘Russian weapons’ fail to live up to their name due to the technological backwardness of the Russian Federation, which thwarts the enemy's plans to destroy Ukraine," the statement summarizes.
On February 20, the European Union extended sanctions against Russia, originally imposed in response to the occupation of part of Ukraine's territory, until February 24, 2025.
