Russia’s Kursk residents report explosions. Authorities claim shelling by Ukrainian UAVs
On the night of June 2, explosions occurred in the Russian city of Kursk

Kursk residents and Russian media reported the information.
A number of explosions occurred in several districts of Kursk, reportedly near a railway station.
The governor of the Kursk region claimed the night attack was allegedly caused by Ukrainian drones. He stated that Russian air defense shot down several UAVs during the incident.
Video from the scene is also being shared online.

On the morning of June 1, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Freedom of Russia Legion published a video in which they said they were launching the second phase of raids on their homeland. They declared their intention to liberate the entirety of Russia, stretching from Belgorod to Vladivostok.
