According to him, the enemy spent the whole night on the defense lines around the city.

"At night, the central part of the city was hit several times; there were no victims. Yesterday, 11 people were evacuated, including 6 children. There are still 38 children remaining in the city. But it is noted that we will soon have a legislative mechanism for the forced evacuation of families with children from the frontline cities," Barabash stressed.

• The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that Ukraine is likely to conduct a limited tactical withdrawal of troops in Bakhmut, but it is too early to assess intentions for a full withdrawal.
