Russians restored their combat positions in Nova Kakhovka, says mayor Kovalenko
Volodymyr Kovalenko, the mayor of Nova Kakhovka, stated that the enemy's personnel in the town has quite increased
He shared this information during an interview on Espreso.
"In Nova Kakhovka, the water has completely receded. The enemy has restored their combat positions on the shore. The Russians have once again set up what the locals call 'toilets' - concrete structures with windows for shooting throughout the city. The occupiers do not allow anyone into the shore zone. Within the town itself, the enemy has additionally deployed their forces on Dnipro Avenue, where they have set up machine gun points on the second and third floors of buildings," said the mayor of Nova Kakhovka.
Volodymyr Kovalenko noted that there is a lot of Russian troops in the city.
"Every day, and this night is no exception, there is some chaotic shooting. From time to time, the enemy fires upon our settlements on the right bank, Vesele and Kozatske, from the forest area located almost in the middle of the town. The enemy does not leave the town; on the contrary, the number of enemy personnel has quite increased," said Kovalenko.
