Russians arrest Zaporizhzhia region residents and take them to field camps – Center of National Resistance
Russian occupying forces arrest residents of the Zaporizhzhia region on the slightest pretext. The military puts pressure on the detainees, forcing them to serve in the Russian army
This was reported by the press service of the Center of National Resistance.
“Russian occupiers are intensifying efforts to arrest a large number of men in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region. Their objective is to exert pressure on these individuals and ultimately force them into joining the ranks of the Russian occupation forces,” the report said.
Men in the temporarily occupied territories can be detained on minor grounds, such as violating the curfew imposed by the occupying authorities.
The detainees are taken to a field camp, where they encounter prisoners of war who were brought from Russia and have willingly chosen to fight on the side of the occupiers. They apply coercion to persuade the detainees to serve alongside the Russian occupiers.
