Ukraine reports to OSCE 626 chemical attacks against its Armed Forces
Ukraine has documented 626 cases of the use of ammunition with toxic chemicals by the Russian military
Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna, Natalia Kostenko, reported the information during a regular meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation, Ukrinform reports.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces have already documented 626 cases of Russian troops using ammunition containing toxic chemicals, 81 of which were in December alone. The frequency of such use is increasing, up to 10 cases are recorded daily," Kostenko said.
According to her, Russian troops are using gas grenades and improvised explosive devices equipped with irritant substances dropped from drones.
In addition, Russia also carries out "artillery shelling with the use of chemically hazardous substances, which is another gross violation of the rules of warfare by Russian troops."
