Russian forces attack Ukraine’s Kharkiv for second time in one day, killing two locals
On October 8, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv again, dropping six guided aerial bombs (KABs), which resulted in two deaths
This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, stated that a high-rise building in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv was hit with a guided aerial bomb, leading to the deaths of two civilians - a man and a woman in their 70s - who were in the street at the time of the attack. The Russians targeted open areas.
"According to law enforcement, the bomb used was a FAB-500 type," Terekhov added.
At least seven people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy. Syniehubov also mentioned that Russia dropped six KABs during the attack.
Terekhov stated that 15 apartment buildings in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv were damaged by the strike. Relevant services and volunteers are currently on-site assisting.
At the same time, Russia attacked the village of Cherkaska Lozova. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported there.
