Russia targets Ukraine's civilian gas facilities ahead of winter — Naftogaz

Serhii Koretskyi, the head of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, wrote this on his Facebook page.

"Civilian objects that provide people with gas during the heating season were attacked. Unfortunately, there are hits and destruction," he noted.

He emphasized that these objects have no military significance, and their sole function is to supply gas to the population.

"These maniacal terrorist strikes are aimed at only one thing—to deprive Ukrainians of gas, heat, and light. Russia is a terrorist country," he stated.

Specialists from the Naftogaz company are already working at the scene, together with rescue services.

• On Saturday evening, October 4, the Russian army launched attack drones over the territory of Ukraine. As a result of the attack on Zaporizhzhia, a woman was killed, and 9 other people were injured, including a teenager. In Lviv, 4 people were killed.
