Russia refrained from airstrikes on Ukraine only twice in 18 months — FM Sybiha
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated on June 30 that over the past year and a half, the Russian army has attacked Ukraine from the air on all but two days
He made this statement at a press conference with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, who arrived in Ukraine on June 30.
The diplomats reviewed statistics on Russian air attacks over the past year and the beginning of this year.
According to Sybiha, on the map, only two days are marked in green—meaning that during this entire period, Ukraine was not subjected to Russian missile or drone attacks only twice. The rest of the days are either red (attacks) or yellow (especially intense combined strikes).
“This map had three colors—red, yellow, meaning days when strikes occurred, yellow for the most intense days with a significant number of combined attacks, including both drones and various types of missiles. So, during this period, there are only two green squares, meaning that during this time, Ukraine was attacked by Russian missiles and drones on all but two days,” Sybiha said.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the possibility of providing Ukraine with more Patriot air defense systems.
