Russian attack on Sumy region claims lives of family
At dawn on Tuesday, February 20, Russian occupation forces attacked a residential building in Konotop district of Sumy region, killing five people

"The attack killed a family: a mother and 2 sons, as well as 2 of their distant relatives: a senior woman and a woman who came from another city," the statement said.
The residential building was hit by a Lancet drone.

"Today, Russian terrorists have committed another crime against the civilian population of the Sumy region," the statement said.
It is noted that the Russians carried out an air and artillery strike on the Nova Sloboda community of Konotop district at about 5 am.
As a result of the Russian attack, a fire broke out in a residential building. When the fire was localized, the bodies of two people were found in the house.
The regional military administration adds that debris removal and search operations are ongoing. Information on the consequences of the shelling is being clarified.
Later, the Nova Sloboda village council clarified that Russian terrorists began attacking the civilian population of the community, first with drones and then with artillery.
