Russia attacks over 30 settlements in Kharkiv region, injuring civilians
Over the day, the Russian army didn't attack the city of Kharkiv, but over 30 settlements in the region were subjected to artillery, mortar and air strikes
Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported this.
Russia attacked with artillery and mortars the settlements of Vesele, Neskuchne, Starytsia, Zarichne, Zelenyi Yar, Hontarivka, Tomakhivka, Yurchenkove, Vovchansk, and others.
In the village of Mali Prokhody, Kharkiv district, a house burned down as a result of shelling. In the Dvorichna village, a 46-year-old woman was wounded and a private house was damaged as a result of the MLRS attack.
In the village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv district, a guided aerial bomb hit a municipal educational institution. In Izium, a 69-year-old man was injured as a result of a munition detonation.
Seven people were injured in Vovchansk over the past day. Private houses were also damaged as a result of a series of massive shelling from various types of weapons.
Ukrainian troops repelled nine attacks in the Kupyansk sector over the past day, including in the areas of Petropavlivka and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kharkiv sector, 12 attacks were repelled, in particular in the areas of Lukianets, Vovchansk, and Buhrivatka.
A total of 5,762 people were evacuated from the areas of Kharkiv region that are under fire. The evacuation included 1,695 local residents from the Chuhuiv district, 2,589 from the Kharkiv district, and 44 from the Bohodukhiv district. 1,434 people were evacuated by volunteers.
