"The situation near Bakhmut is extremely difficult. The enemy is advancing in a way it has never done before. They are firing at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with all kinds of weapons. The enemy is destroying the city of Bakhmut and the surrounding settlements. The invaders are trying to encircle the city," emphasized Konon.

According to him, Ukrainian defenders are holding their ground and holding Bakhmut.

"There is no question of surrendering the city. The guys are delivering devastating blows to the enemy's positions. Wagner mercenaries are being thrown into the last battle. The Russian army is wearing itself out in Bakhmut and losing a huge number of its units," added Konon.
