Russian troops shell Kherson region more than hundred times in the last 24 hours, one person dies
On January 16, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region 102 times.
Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych reports.
"Russian invading forces attacked Kherson region 102 times. They shelled with artillery, MLRS, mortars, tanks and UAVs," he noted.
Kherson city was shelled 36 times by Russian troops – residential quarters of the city once again came under the fire of Russian occupying forces. Enemy shells hit a boarding school a building, a hospital and residential buildings.
As a result of Russian shelling, 1 person died, 2 residents of the Kherson region were wounded of varying degrees of severity.
According to the first deputy chairman of the regional council Yuriy Sobolevskyi, 102 shellings on the territory of the Kherson region are absolutely anti-record.
