Russian troops lose key professional units – General Malomuzh

Mykola Malomuzh, Ukrainian general and head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service (2005-2010), says that Russian troops have deployed almost all their resources, but cannot advance

He said this on Espreso TV.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces have a strategic initiative, which is related to the fact that the enemy is losing its main professional units. These are Wagner PMC fighters, airborne troops, air assault brigades and marines. We have the prospect of destroying them on the battlefield. To do this, we have reserves, trained special forces, equipment, and weapons that we receive every day,” Malomuzh said.

According to the general, Ukraine has the prospect of rearming special forces, rapid response brigades and breakthrough brigades, which makes it possible to prepare for large-scale offensive operations.

“The number one task is to knock out the enemy, destroy enemy reserves and advanced units that are performing an aggressive task on our territory. The culminating moment has come when the Russian forces have thrown everything they have, but cannot advance,” added Malomuzh.
