Russian troops deploy air defense outside Berdyansk so that locals do not help Ukrainian army

"Locals hear a lot of explosions in the Berdiansk district, but there is no information because it flies outside the city. Yesterday, there was a hitl where Russian occupiers were deploying air defense systems, which is the outskirts of the city. We understand that the Russian forces are attempting to protect the coast. Today, locals heard explosions over the small village of Mykolaivka. Definitely, something happened there, but there are no concrete results, because there are practically no local people and no internet in the village," Dudukalov stressed.

According to him, Russian forces have deployed air defense systems around Berdiansk because Russian army personnel are stationed in the area.

"Every village is a barracks and a military unit. Russian forces live in every empty house. Also, top officials and the top command of the Russian Federation come to Berdyansk because it is the most remote point from the front. All movements of equipment are covered by air defense systems, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are successfully targeting," Dudukalov added.

• On Monday, 25 September, Ukrainian defenders continued to conduct offensive operations at the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions. At the same time, the Russian army suffered losses - 5 tanks, 39 artillery systems and 400 soldiers.
