Russian troops attack 10 regions of Ukraine, killing 1, injuring 9 

Information on the consequences of the attacks as of 09:00 a.m. was released by the regional military administrations.

Chernihiv region

Over the past day, Russian troops launched 11 attacks, targeting over 8 settlements in the region.

Sumy region

At night and in the morning, Russian troops shelled the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region 6 times. Yesterday, during the day, they fired 39 times at the populated areas of the Sumy region.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Yesterday, the Russian army targeted the Nikopol district, twice shelling the district center with artillery. A “kamikaze” drone attacked the Marhanets community.

Zaporizhzhia region

Russian troops launched 79 artillery attacks targeting over 11 settlements and border areas.

They also launched 9 MLRS attacks at 4 settlements across the region and 4 air strikes at 3 more settlements.

Kharkiv region

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched mortar and artillery attacks at 5 settlements across the region.

In the Kupyansk direction, they launched air strikes near Orlyanka, Kupyansk district. Five came under artillery and mortar fire.

Luhansk region

Russian troops launched an assault south of Svatove, namely in the area of Novoyehorivka, and withdrew with significant losses. Overall, they launched 153 attacks during the day.

Donetsk region

Russian forces launched 16 attacks at 12 settlements. Six people were wounded as a result.

Odesa region

Russian troops attacked the region twice at night. Around midnight, using tactical aircraft over the Black Sea, they launched 2 missiles, most likely Kh-35/Kh-59, in the direction of one of the ports. Ukrainian air defense destroyed the missiles over the sea.

Mykolaiv region

Artillery shelling was recorded in the town of Ochakiv, Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

Kherson region

Over the day, Russian troops launched 81 attacks on the region, including 4 attacks on Kherson. They shelled 31 settlements in the region; a plant in Kherson city; an administrative building and a critical infrastructure facility, a medical facility and a store in the Kherson district; a grain elevator and warehouses, and buildings of educational institutions in the Beryslav district. 

In total, one person was killed and three others were injured in the last 24 hours as a result of Russian aggression, including one child.

• During the night of August 25, Russian forces have attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with different weaponry. As a result, a farm, power lines, residential buildings, and gas pipelines were damaged

• In addition, Russian troops attacked the Odesa region twice on the night of August 25 with cruise missiles.
