Russian attack on Dnipropetrovsk region causes power outage for over 700 families
During the night of August 25, Russian forces have attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with different weaponry. As a result, a farm, power lines, residential buildings, and gas pipelines were damaged
Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, reports this.
During the night, the aggressor targeted the Nikopol district using Grads and heavy artillery. This led to damage to an agricultural facility and a power line in Nikopol, leaving over 700 families without electricity. The Russian army resumed its attack on the city in the morning, as well as on the Marhanets community, with ongoing assessments of the resulting consequences.
In the Zelenodolsk community of the Kryvyi Rih district, a gas pipeline was severely damaged due to heavy artillery shelling.
Furthermore, defenders from Air Command East successfully neutralized an enemy drone over the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night. Ukrainian air defense also intercepted a missile, which caused debris to impact a private house and a gas pipeline in the Hrushivka community area of the Kryvyi Rih district.
There were no reported fatalities or injuries in any of these incidents.
- On the night of August 25, Russian troops attempted to attack the Odesa region twice using tactical aircraft, 2 missiles, presumably Kh-35/Kh-59, were fired over the Black Sea in the direction of one of the ports. Ukraine’s air defense destroyed the missiles over the sea.
