Russian troops accumulate forces in south to compensate for heavy losses - Humeniuk, OC South

Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk says the Russian forces are trying to tighten the defense in some areas of the left bank of the Dnipro River

She said this on Espreso TV.

“The enemy has suffered significant losses in personnel. Their losses are quite heavy. The reorganization of all medical facilities on the left bank into hospitals and their overcrowding indicates that the enemy's physical losses are heavy, so they are pulling up new forces. They need to not only prepare for an offensive, they also need to hold the line. The area is large, and they already know the direction of our fire. The Russians are afraid of the advance of our forces,” Humeniuk emphasized.

According to her, the Russian forces are trying to tighten the defense in some areas of the left bank of the Dnipro River, although it is possible that they will pull up forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

“In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy is trying to test our defense. The Russians are trying to make attacks with reconnaissance and assault groups. This enemy tactic is predictable, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are giving a powerful response. Now the front line is quite mobile. It constantly has geographical changes, but these are not critical changes, but the order of introduction of combat operations when the actions go beyond counter-battery confrontation,” Humeniuk added.
