Russian State Duma proposes to distribute Ukrainian occupied lands to Russians
The Russian State Duma is preparing a bill that provides for the land allocation to Russians in the occupied Ukrainian territories in order to "develop" them faster
This was stated by the initiator of the project, MP Aleksei Zhuravlyov, Kommersant reports
It is about getting land plots under occupation in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. The initiators of the bill estimate that it may involve 100 million hectares of occupied land.
According to Zhuravlyov, the land is to be given to the invaders and occupiers as a priority. His initiative is still under development.
Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko said that it would take 20 years to fully restore the city to the state it was in before Russia's full-scale invasion.
