Russian politician Volodin threatens to destroy NATO countries if they supply offensive weapons to Ukraine

Chairman of the Russian parliament Vyacheslav Volodin threatens NATO countries with a global catastrophe over the supply of offensive weapons to Ukraine

He wrote on Telegram that the supply of offensive weapons to Ukraine would lead to a global catastrophe.

“If Washington and NATO countries supply weapons that will be used for attacks on peaceful cities and attempts to seize our territories, as they threaten, this will lead to retaliatory measures with the use of more powerful weapons,” Volodin wrote.

He declared that it would lead the world “to a terrible war and completely different fighting than today.”

“Given the technological superiority of Russian weapons, foreign politicians who make such decisions need to understand: this may end in a global tragedy that will destroy their countries,” Volodin said.

In the end, he moved to direct threats of using nuclear weapons.

“Arguments that nuclear states have not previously used weapons of mass effect in local conflicts are groundless. Because these states did not face a situation when there was a threat to the safety of their citizens and the territorial integrity of the country,” Volodin concluded.
