Russian occupation forces in Kherson region force captives to dig trenches, shoot those who disobey in the legs.

In Kherson region Russian troops are forcing the people in a correctional unit, who have not been evacuated, to dig trenches, shooting anyone who disobeys in the legs. Occupying Russian forces are also trying to enlist them in their army.

The information was provided by the leader of the press service Hayane Ohanesyan on her Facebook page.

She wrote that all the people sentenced to the correctional colony №10, who were ready to defend their motherland, are redirected to colony 90 by the Russian occupants and are forced to dig trenches and dugouts. Any disobeyment is punished by shooting in the legs. On the territory of the former correctional colony №10 stations for Russian military equipment repairment will be located. The Russian occupants are ready to provide the captured people with weapons and equipment to fight on Russia's side. People who managed to escape are hiding to not be forced to collaborate with the Russian forces.

Hayane said that the sentenced people in the region that haven’t been evacuated count up to 3 thousand people.

She invoked to evacuate the people from detainee isolation stations and colonies in the Kherson region to avoid deaths.

Hayane adds that the Russian soldiers have beaten up all the males in Kherson’s detainee isolation station. Since the station is located in the centre of the city, the screams of the men beaten up were heard by people living in the nearby houses.

“They fortunately still haven’t gotten their hands on any of the women there. Yet.”
